Our protagonist. 26, Leo, single woman living in LA, runs a seedy, grimy bar in a bad part of town, likes whiskey neat, causing problems, motorcycles, leather and making poor choices. Keeps the world at arm's length to keep two very important secrets safe. One is nine years old and calls her "mom". The other happens on the full moon.

Saxsice King | Lily James

Saxsice's nine-year-old son. Raised by his grandmother in rural Idaho among the other Hart werewolves. Dumped on his mom's doorstep after a lifetime of not knowing her, and her opposite in most ways -- quiet, reserved, logical, organized and NOT a werewolf.

Ryan King | Dylan Kingwell

Probably Saxsice's best friend, and the one who's the closest to knowing everything about her. Would definitely like to be more than friends, but hasn't gotten up the guts to say that yet. Still the most stable, constant presence in Saxsice's life.

Stephanie "Stormy" Leone | Natalie Martinez

Head of the pack whose territory Saxsice is unwittingly infringing upon. Young for a pack leader, clearly trying to make up for that by being deathly serious about everything. This isn't super effective when Saxsice takes nothing seriously.

Theta | Tessa Thompson

A member of Theta's pack, who is a genuine sweetheart, but often gets swept up in the danger and mystery of everything. Easily flustered by Saxsice's attitude and flirtation, but bonds easily with Ryan.

Alexis | Eleanor Tomlinson

Another member of Theta's pack, their de facto second in command. Thinks Saxsice and her effect on Theta is HILARIOUS. Here for a good time, not a long time.

Kai | Jason Momoa

The fourth member of Theta's pack. Joined alongside Alexis, young and earnest and constantly trying to prove himself. Is any werewolf pack complete without a well-meaning himbo? No.

Benji | Kit Connor

A newer member of Theta's pack. Respects power and control, and expects a leader who does likewise. Not a huge fan of Theta's youth and inexperience, but even less of a fan of Saxsice's...everything.

Nox | Xavier Samuel

Final member of Theta's pack. Keeps to himself, led his own pack on the East Coast for years, but doesn't like to talk about it. Doesn't seem to like Saxsice either -- and not in a fun, antagonistic, will-they/won't-they way. In a CREEPY way. (Is he the bad guy? Yeah.)

Zaine | Gaspard Ulliel

Matriarch of the Hart family and Saxsice's estranged mother. Rarely smiles, no sense of humor, can still terrify her fully-grown daughter without saying a word. All about appearances and maintaining the family name and so on and so forth.

Aquila Hart | Sissy Spacek

Younger cousin. Certifiable little shit. Seriously, this kid is the worst. Butted heads constantly with Saxsice growing up, and wasn't any better towards Ryan. In constant competition with Pyxis for who will be next head of the pack.

Cygnus Hart | Jackson Rathbone

One of the (MANY) cousins Saxsice grew up with, was her protector and babysitter and keeper, attempted to step into her place once she left. Aquila did not approve, and he was put back on babysitting detail when Ryan was left with the pack. Motives unclear.

Pyxis Hart | Richard Madden

A quieter, more gentler member of the Hart pack, takes a backseat to most of the others. Fairly close to Saxsice in her youth, but was again overshadowed by her talent and place as the heir to the throne, as it were. Seems to be willing to do whatever Aquila says, but might just be a silent/deadly force.

Andromeda Hart | Victoria Pedretti

Babydaddy, was engaged to someone else when he and Saxie hooked up in Portland. She ended up pregnant and he skipped town. Kind of a huge loser. Probably not even his real last name.

Lucas Smith | Jason Bateman
